Logica Belgium Partners with OutSystems to Fuel Local Market Expansion
OutSystems, provider of the Agile Platform web application development environment, announced today that the Belgian part of IT service provider Logica is officially participating in its global partner program. Logica provides business consulting, systems integration and outsourcing to clients around the world. They will leverage OutSystems’ Agile Platform to expand their services offer and provide their customers with the rapid delivery of unique applications that reduce cost and give them competitive advantage.
Logica is the first official OutSystems partner in Belgium. “The partnership is an important step for our expansion of activities and confirms that the market realizes the need for rapid project delivery based on Agile methods,” said Carlos Alves, VP International Operations at OutSystems. “The Logica partnership will enhance their capabilities to deliver great custom applications in record time.”
Logica was introduced to OutSystems via a large Belgium energy supplier where it provides resources for application-based projects. These employees were very positive about the Agile Platform and the possible opportunities to enhance delivery capabilities. Their feedback reached Logica, which resulted in OutSystems providing Logica team members with a series of Boot Camp training sessions earlier this year to learn the Agile Platform technology. The relationship grew and has resulted in this official partnership. Both parties are currently working together on additional internal training programs to further expand and optimize results.
